Vintner

Daniel Sinton

A fifth generation rancher and second generation vintner, Daniel grew up learning to be a steward of the Avenales Ranch and Shell Creek Vineyards that have been in his family since 1875. The family of Avenales Ranch strongly believes that a great glass of wine is created in the vineyard and then stewarded in the winemaking process.

About

Avenales Ranch

The only winery in the Paso Robles Highlands District, Avenales Ranch, is a small winery that uses 100% estate fruit from their historic Shell Creek Vineyards. Planted in 1972, one of the first vineyards in San Luis Obispo County, they have a rich history in viticulture and producing high quality grapes and wines. Organically and sustainably farmed fruit from 50+ year old vines is the backbone of their wine program and are excited to offer Old Vine Petite Sirah, Old Vine Chenin Blanc, Silver Buckle Cabernet and a Rose’ of Valdiguie.
